The traditional Neapolitan fry pizza  the way we make it!

                            PIZZA FRITTA napoletana

                                            The Nativity Scenes

The tradition of making Nativity Scenes is very old and very dear to

Neapolitan people. In the Neapolitan Museum of San Martino, there is

a big section dedicated to antique Nativity Scenes. One is made

entirely with coral. The creation of Nativity Scenes figurines is an art

and today too, Naples is rich of artists that dedicate their talent to

create incredible masterpieces. Many of these creations and their

artist can be admired on the Facebook page "Presepi". Outstanding is

the art of Lello Troncone who came in USA in 07 and 08 to showcase

his Nativity Scene  creation  at The Knights of Columbus in

 New Haven,CT.

Neapolitan artist Lello Troncone work of art: the fisherman

 Vicin o' mar... facim a' morre.. a cor a cor....so marenar e vott a rezza a

mare... pe la alereza stong a vuga....( an old Neapolitan song that says "I

am a fisherman and for the happiness to be next to the sea... I am

singing)
